Microsoft Dynamics AX

In manufacturing companies, we implement the system Microsoft Dynamics AX (Microsoft Dynamics 2009, 4.0, or formerly – Microsoft Business Solutions – Axapta). Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 is the latest Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP II) business software by Microsoft for managing (in the broad meaning of the term) and analysing of enterprises’ operations. Microsoft Dynamics AX automates and streamlines financial processes, customer relationships, business services, human resources management and supply chain related processes. The system is tailored to domestic and international financial and accounting standards, it supports multiple currencies and languages.
The system enables handling of many entities, e.g. within holding companies or capital groups; additionally, in the new version of the software, handling of companies’ branches has been expanded. The user is provided with a console [dashboard] of targets and assumptions, that console [dashboard] showing, in a comprehensive way, the status of all areas of the enterprise’s operations and a report on efficiency ratios. The new user interface is very similar to the interface known from the Office package.
The system has been developed in the latest object-oriented technology, it is available in the sources and works on Microsoft SQL and Oracle platforms. The state-of-the-art technology guarantees security and further consistent development of the system in the future. Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 ensures automatic adaptation of the software’s functionalities to the location, so that services fit in with the specific characteristics of the local market.

MES (Manufacturing Execution System) - management and optimization of the manufacturing efficiency

For industry, the label, the quality of packaging, and the way it looks - these are part of a marketing strategy related to brand management. For managers in charge of manufacturing, that is another element of the process route, but also a point of failure and an element which causes losses in the production cycle, especially where its quality is not satisfactory. Insufficient optimisation of the packing process and lower quality of materials delivered by suppliers may be a cause of damages and result in a considerable increase (up to 20%) in manufacturing costs.

Improvement of every area of production (so that manufacturing is faster and cheaper) requires knowledge that will allow to take the right decisions. According to many experts, already now it is possible to keep machines and the technological process from being poorly scaled so as to make manufacturing more efficient. The budgeting of: revenues, costs, investment projects and financial performance

Financial analysis, multidimensional data analysis

Financial statements, as well as the related growth rate ratios or ratios connected with the vertical analysis of the statements, get automatically re-calculated based on the selected criteria as to the period, type of activity or organizational structure.
In addition, with individual departments in mind, we deliver multidimensional analytical databases which allow to build the required reports in an intuitive environment, without the knowledge of the database query language.

CasePro - workflow process management [matters]

The CasePro system allows to effectively manage the circulation of documents (e.g. orders, invoices, questionnaires, complaints, vacation leave applications, etc.) and handle various kinds of cases (e.g. payment order, hiring of an employeeand granting of rights to him, communicating of an emergency alert, carrying out of a marketing campaign, etc.) in companies and institutions.

CasePro is a BPM (Business Process Management) solution which ensures a fast and fully controlled circulation of information and tasks between employees out sine and inside the organization.
On the one hand, participants in the process receive tasks from system, which result from from the organization’s procedures, job duties and the currently handled cases and documents. On the other hand, administrator of the system manages workflow via a graphic tool for the modelling and parameterisation of data model, processes, forms and printouts. All the changes in the system are carried out by the administrator without programming.
Organizations’ employees, partners, or clients receive access to custom information via a Web browser according to given access rights. Every participant in the process can clearly see what stage his document/case is at and monitor completed workflow document history. They also have direct access to the data base of all processed documents and cases.
It’s easy to monitor the efficiency of employees or detect bottlenecks. The system checks if a given task has been performed on time, it can send reminders through e-mails, increase priority, inform the superior or redirect the task to another user.
CasePro easily integrates with external systems or applications. The integration can be implemented e.g. via the XML standard and WebServices, or dedicated adapters, e.g. for Microsoft Dynamics AX. The solution can effectively enhance and functionally expand the existing solutions, e.g. it can handle the process of circulation of any invoice in the company, and at the final stage save it in the accounting system, or it can handle requests submitted by employees and automatically update data in the HR system, designate substitutes, etc.

Infrastructure virtualization

Virtualization of server resources is currently one of the main trends in the development of IT technologies. Studies show that the average usage of the capacity of servers installed in companies amounts to approx. 10-15%. The use of the technology of resource virtualization allows to treat server infrastructure - together with any network devices and mass memory assigned to them - as one consolidated processing resource, which can be divided [broken down] in any way as required. Tools for building virtual infrastructure form a uniform picture of the hardware platform on which operating systems and applications – the so-called virtual machines – work.
